The first season of the Beyblade: Metal Saga anime, following development that began in 2008 after the Original Series ended. Gingka Hagane, searching for his hidden past with partner Storm Pegasus, arrives in Metal Bey City and sets out to defeat the villainous Dark Nebula organization and Ryuga, wielder of the forbidden Lightning L-Drago.

Storyline

The first season of the Beyblade: Metal Saga anime, following development that began in 2008 after the Original Series ended. Gingka Hagane, searching for his hidden past with partner Storm Pegasus, arrives in Metal Bey City and sets out to defeat the villainous Dark Nebula organization and Ryuga, wielder of the forbidden Lightning L-Drago. It adapts roughly the first four manga volumes with notable simplifications, shifts to constellation-themed Beys and mostly individual battles, and corrects the English dub's terminology from 'Blades' to 'Beys.'
