Biography

Van is a video-game-and-manga-exclusive antagonist who leads a gang called the Nosferatu and is possessed by his own Beyblade, Bloody Belzebrute. He never appears in the mainline anime, existing only in the Metal Fusion Nintendo DS game and the Metal Fusion manga, where he commands two partners, Crow and Aegis. His fate differs by branch of the story: in his own in-game story path he may be killed when his rival B-Killer self-destructs, while in Gingka's path he is instead freed from Belzebrute's control and becomes Gingka's friend.

No Blader Profile yet: nothing we hold describes how Van actually battles, and we rate from results on screen or on the page, not from a guess.

Briefing

What to know

  • Exists only in the Metal Fusion DS game and the Metal Fusion manga, not the anime
  • Leads the gang called the Nosferatu
  • Possessed by his Beyblade, Bloody Belzebrute
  • Has two named partners, Crow and Aegis
  • Outcome depends on which character's story path is played: possibly dies, or is freed and befriends Gingka

Claims We Could Not Check

  • Is the second cursed character in Metal Fusion after Takeru
  • His story branches: he possibly dies after B-Killer self-destructs in his own route, but survives and reforms in Gingka's route

What we checked

What is on record for Van is thin, so we went looking elsewhere rather than padding this page. These are the collections we searched, and none of them had anything to add:

  • our toy database of every Beyblade and part
  • every episode of every series
  • the World Beyblade Organization's archived forums and Beywiki drafts
  • Takara Tomy's and beyblade.jp's own pages
  • Wikipedia in English and Japanese
  • beyblade.com
  • collectors' measurements of the parts
  • the tournament, testing, news and fake-check records already on this site
