Biography

Tsuyoshi Kumade is a video-game-exclusive character from Beyblade: Metal Fusion - Battle Fortress, kidnapped to the eponymous fortress by the villain Hellbeyd. Introduced as a mean-spirited blader who reveals Hellbeyd's molecular-power scheme to Gingka and Kenta, he loses his opening battle with Gingka and later reappears brainwashed, teaming with a brainwashed Hyoma against Gingka before Kenta talks sense into him. He ultimately redeems himself, helping gather the game's bladers to destroy the antagonist's orb, using his defense-type Iron Bearl WD145WB throughout.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Tsuyoshi wears a periwinkle bandana marked with Iron Bearl's motif, over a teal-blue jacket with the sleeves torn away to show a yellow shirt underneath, printed with a green star and the word "star" in orange lettering. Bandages wrap both his arms beneath a pair of green fingerless gloves, and he finishes the look with black trousers.

Tsuyoshi comes off as a jerk, fixated purely on bladers' raw ability and dismissive of anything else. It's through him that Gingka and Kenta first learn about Hellbeyd's molecular power. He gives no weight to the idea of a Blader's Spirit and insists he has no need of one, staying stubborn about it until Kenta finally talks him around.
