Yu is found to have escaped his brutal battle with Reiji as Doji rearranges the quarterfinal order out of spite. Kyoya defeats Benkei in a respectful clash, and Gingka overcomes Ryutaro, who ultimately gives up his role in the Dark Nebula and places his hope in Gingka. An exhausted, injured Yu then reappears and collapses in front of the group.

• In the Japanese version Blazing Inferno's flames are red; the English dub recolors them blue.
• This is the only time Benkei uses his strongest move, Maximum Stampede, possibly because he considers Kyoya a worthy enough opponent.
