Reiki Sodo is the hasty, hot-headed half of the Dark Nebula grunt twins alongside his brother Dan, sharing the dual-powered Beyblade Evil Gemios DF145FS, whose Twins beast splits fire and ice between them. He follows Dan's plans until his impatience gets the better of him, repeatedly breaking coordination mid-battle — a flaw that costs the twins their fight against Kenta Yumiya. Defeated again by Tsubasa and then by Ryuga at Battle Bladers, the pair still cheer on Gingka's final victory over Nemesis in Metal Fury.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

As Dan's twin, Reiki looks a great deal like his brother, though his medium-length orange hair is a shade darker and swept the opposite way, and his eyebrows form three spikes above dark blue eyes. He has a slim, athletic build. His outfit is a blue half-zip vest with a white-grey stand-up collar and matching stripes running from the shoulders down to the base of the chest, worn with black fingerless gloves that reach past the elbow and finish in a blue band. Two belts circle his waist, one brown and one blue holding his launcher, both closed with oval buckles, over white-grey trousers with thigh pockets. His short brown boots carry two grey stripes on the front and two more on the cuff, with grey soles.

Immature and quick to act without thinking, Reiki takes the offensive role while his twin Dan plays defense, usually doing whatever Dan tells him, until Dan pushes him too far, at which point he snaps. He fights like a pure attack-type blader, wanting every match over as fast as possible, and it's this same hastiness that costs the twins a battle, summed up in his own outburst: 'I'M NOT LISTENING!'
