Description

Night Virgo DF145BS is Hasbro's Legend Beyblades reissue of Takara Tomy's Virgo DF145BS, sold in a Beyblade: Metal Fusion Starter Pack for USD$8.99. Its Face Bolt shows Virgo the Virgin, one of the 88 constellations, reworked here with a hook where the original had diamonds. The Energy Ring keeps Virgo's smooth, hair-like curves at 2.8 grams and pairs with the circular Night Fusion Wheel, while the Down Force 145 Spin Track adds roughly 3 grams. Its Ball Sharp tip is a fine point built for stamina rather than movement.

In play and in the story

Night's rounded, gapped shape leaves it open to upper attacks despite otherwise solid defence, and competitive players have paired it with combinations such as MF-H Night Bull 90/100SF/HF; the Ball Sharp tip holds spin well early on, but its grip and stamina both fade once the point wears down.

  • Sold in the United States as a Beyblade: Metal Fusion Starter Pack for USD$8.99.

Community testing, Mar. 31, 2012 — summarised

The competitive view

Night's smooth, rounded blades offer moderate defense and stamina alongside balance-type versatility, but it is ranked well behind top defense and stamina wheels like Basalt. DF145's stabilizing wings are judged to produce a negligible effect, useful only when no better 145-class or 230 track is on hand. Ball Spike is rated an outclassed variant of the Spike tip, worse for stamina than Spike or even its Extreme and Metal variants, though it can shift toward more balanced performance as it wears down. The whole beyblade is considered worth buying only for collectors.
