Takashi is a minor background friend of Kenta Yumiya in Beyblade: Metal Fusion's Metal Saga, introduced when Kenta brings him and friends Osamu and Akira to meet Gingka Hagane. He battles Gingka in a losing tag match, helps search for Gingka when he goes missing, and later survives a trap set by Tetsuya alongside his friends before Kenta helps turn it around. He advances fairly deep into a large survival battle before his elimination goes unshown, and keeps appearing as a supporter cheering Gingka on through the season.
