Beyblade

Osamu is one of Kenta's chubby, spotlight-loving friends who dreams of building his own amusement park, 'OTA Land,' named after himself and pals Takashi and Akira. Overconfident about his skills despite lacking real talent, he searches for Beyblade treasure on Beyblade Island and takes offense at being handed a 'beginner' launcher. He fights with the Attack-type Wind Hydra 125FS through a long string of tag and survival battles, winning some and losing most of them.

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Osamu favours a blue T-shirt layered under a red shirt, paired with plain beige trousers that round out the look. His build runs stocky rather than lean, and he keeps his hair short but styled up into noticeable spikes rather than lying flat.

Osamu craves attention and enjoys being the centre of things. On Bey Blade Island his main interest lay in hunting down the treasure hidden there, and the prizes he picked up along the way, an Angle Compass and a Launcher Grip, fed straight into his ambitions: had he won the survival battle, his prize would have gone toward a theme park of his own devising, OTA Land, named for himself and his friends Takashi and Akira. He rates his own blading far higher than his results support, boasting freely about strength he doesn't quite have, and he was convinced his new compass made him unbeatable in the survival battle. He bristled at being told the launcher he'd been given was meant for beginners.
