Zyro's group treks to DNA's Dark Fortress and is stopped by a weather-controlling guardian named Karura. After the team's Beyblades are battered by his manufactured storms, Maru realizes the 'weather' actually comes from hidden fire traps, letting Kite defeat Karura by turning the same tricks back on him. The group then infiltrates the fortress, only to be confronted immediately by the DNA bladers.
