The competitive view

Covers the Zero-G Balance Beyblade Shinobi Saramanda SW145SD (BBG-02, Fire element; "Saramanda" is Takara-Tomy's deliberate misspelling of "Salamander"), a well-rounded but not standout part set whose Semi-Defense Bottom is highlighted as a genuine stamina upgrade over the older Defense tip.

Saramanda's balanced weight distribution gives it decent stamina, defense, and minor Smash Attack, making it a solid substitute Chrome Wheel across roles, especially Synchromed with itself for Anti-Attack; SW145 attacks lower opponents reasonably well but is outclassed for defense by taller gimmick tracks; SD overtook D as the top stamina bottom of its type, though WD may still edge out both in some stamina and defense scenarios by circling the stadium late in a match.

Verdict as the draft gives it: Cited combos: Lightning L Drago SW145RF (niche Smash Attack) and Burn Bull AD145SD (Stamina); overall this Beyblade is recommended as a solid addition to a serious blader's collection, mainly for its Metal Stone Face and SD Bottom.

  • Metal Stone Face: Saramanda - 5.5 grams
  • Chrome Wheel: Saramanda - 30.6 grams
  • Crystal Wheel: Shinobi - 5.4 grams, flips onto the Chrome Wheel's top for a shock-absorbing Crystal Up Mode
  • Track: Switch 145 (SW145) - 4.2 grams, Height 14.5mm; reversible three-wing Track for Attack Mode vs Defense Mode
  • Bottom: Semi-Defense (SD) - 0.5 grams
  • 20-battle Balance Stadium test of Virgo DF145D vs Virgo DF145SD: SD won 18 battles to D's 2 (90% win rate)
