Description

The blade Tyson carries into V-Force, the first of the magnet-core generation. Dragoon V is built around a magnetic core that reacts to the metal set into the new stadiums, giving Tyson's already erratic attack patterns an extra lurch that opponents struggle to read. Its Victory Tornado is the move that finally beats Ozuma. The blade has a hard season: it is illegally tuned by Psykick's sabotage, pushed to the edge against Kane's Cyber Dragoon, and finally outgrown when the rock's power arrives.

Known on the toy itself as Dragoon V, this was Tyson Granger's fourth Beyblade, growing out of Dragoon F and later handing off to Dragoon V2. Takara sold it as a Starter Set in Japan in December 2001 for 980円, bundled with a red Neo Reverse Shooter and a blue Dragon Winder, and Hasbro brought it to international shelves as a Starter sometime in 2003; its build runs the Dragoon Bit Chip, the eight-pronged Eight Attacker Attack Ring, the wide Ten Wide weight disk, a Neo Left Spin Gear carrying the line's first metal weight core, and the magnet-tipped Magne Flat Base.
