Description

Tyson's final blade, assembled by Kenny, Emily and Miguel from pooled data and scavenged parts after BEGA locks the rebels out of the parts shops. It is the first Hard Metal System blade: a metal attack ring on a smaller, heavier body that hits like a hammer and initially throws its own owner around. Once mastered, Dragoon MS beats Garland and then Brooklyn's Zeus in the Justice 5 tiebreaker, the battle that ends the original series and defines the finale's black-sky imagery.

Built for the Hard Metal System, Dragoon MS was the eighth Beyblade Tyson Granger fielded in G-Revolution, evolving out of Dragoon GT and later giving way to Dragoon MS Ultimate Version. Its loadout pairs the Dragoon Emblem Bit Protector with the four-spiked Metal Attacker Attack Ring, the wide, outward-weighted Circle Wide disk and the Grip Flat Core, a soft-rubber running core barely a gram in weight that still ranks among the fastest attack cores from the era.

In play and in the story

Grip Flat Core's low height and featherweight build make it the backbone of HMS upper-attack setups, such as pairing it with Samurai Upper and the Sea Dragon weight disk, and it remains a top-tier choice for smash-attack builds decades after release; the community still treats owning several copies as close to essential for competing with Wolborg MS.

  • Released in Blue for the HMS Twin Battle Bey Double Shooter Set.
  • Released in Red for HMS Random Booster ACT 1.
  • Released in Red as a Toys "R" Us Fire Blood exclusive.
  • Released in Red with special stickers.
  • Released in Black for the 2004 Beyblade Fukubako.
  • Released in Gold, Blue and other colours as tournament prizes.
