In play and in the story

Double Attacker mainly suits right-spin Smash Attack builds, though the wide gap between its two projections keeps its Smash power below competitive levels; Twin Guard, thanks to its round shape, pairs well in Life-After-Death customizations alongside Wide Defense-style disks.

Community testing, Oct. 21, 2011 — summarised

The competitive view

Double Attacker is rated too asymmetrical and gapped to be a competitive smash-attack ring. The round Twin Guard support part is considered strong for zombie, survival and life-after-death setups because it pairs well with Wide Survivor and a bearing-shaft casing, performing similarly to Dranzer V2's and the Dark Series support parts, so cheaper Beyblades can match its results. The SG Bolt Base is considered too tall for competitive play despite decent raw attack and stamina. Whether the Hasbro engine-gear release uses a different base is unclear.
