About This Part
Grip Flat Core (グリップフラットコア, Gurippu Furatto Koa) is a soft-rubber Running Core weighing just 1 gram, the lightest of any part in its class. Its tip measures roughly 4mm across, with an angled rubber base about 2mm up that can be tilted to catch a stadium's Tornado Ridge, gripping the floor for a sudden burst of speed. It first shipped with Dragoon MS as the second Attack-type Running Core after Gaia Dragoon MS's Flat Core, and along with its Ultimate Version counterpart it ranks among the shortest Running Cores made.
In Play
Community rankings still place Grip Flat Core among the strongest Attack-type Running Cores of Hard Metal System: its low height suits Upper Attack builds such as Samurai Upper paired with CWD Defense Ring, while its speed also carries a Smash Attack pairing of Slash Upper and Circle Wide.
