Description

Ray's magnet-core blade, received with the rest of the team's upgrades when he returns from China. Driger V trades some of Driger F's raw bite for a magnetic grip on the dish that keeps Ray in control during the chaotic stadium battles of V-Force, and the Vulcan Claw gives him a rapid-fire finisher. It is the blade of the pitch-black cave fight against The Bat and the duel with Salima's Cyber Driger, and it is lost when Dunga seals Driger away at the rock.

Driger V carried Ray Kon through the early stretch of "Beyblade: V-Force" as Driger Five in the English dub, before he moved on to a more advanced build. It follows the earlier A-24 Driger F as the third top in the Driger line, and it was the first of the series to combine an all-purpose Attack Ring with a flat metal-tipped Blade Base. Its Sonic Tiger ring sits on a 15-gram 10-Balance weight disk and a South-polarity Neo Right spin gear, whose negative magnetic charge pushes back against a stadium's magnets rather than being drawn in.

Part by part

Parts in detail

Combo pairing the Sonic Tiger Attack Ring, Ten Balance Weight Disk, Neo Right Spin Gear (South Magne Version), and SG Metal Flat Base.

SlotPartWeightSpinNote
Attack Ring Sonic Tiger 4.7 g Left & Right (weak in both) A two-winged ring, each wing split into three segments, resembling a further-divided Tiger Defenser but performing as a lesser version of that design. In Right Spin its main contact points (rear wing tips, thick second-segment edges) aren't well angled for offense and add noticeable recoil, functionally making it a slightly worse Panther Claw with more recoil and less defense — usable at most as an emergency Compact piece. In Left Spin its head and adjoining edges suffer similar recoil issues with no compensating offense, ruling it out for Attack, Defense, or Survival use.
Weight Disk Ten Balance 15.0 g Well-weighted, compact edge-focused spread giving good all-around RPM retention and survival.
Spin Gear Neo Right Spin Gear Shells (Spin Gear Shells) 1.15 each (2.3 total) g Right Preferred over regular Right shells for compatibility with all SG-compatible bases, including Neo Cores and the Heavy Metal Core.
Spin Gear South Magnecore (Spin Gear Core) 3.3 g Provides moderate recoil control for stamina-conscious Attack builds without much speed loss, generally a slightly better balance than Metal Weight Core; the magnetism has negligible in-battle effect beyond attracting magnetized tips or flippable Magne Weight Disks. For pure defense/recoil control it's outclassed by Heavy Metal Core but remains a solid second choice, with situational use in certain Driger V2 outspin match-ups, and intentionally erratic behavior in Magne Stadium play.
Blade Base SG Metal Flat Base 6.2 g Despite the name, not a true flat tip — closer to a sharp tip (similar to Customize Metal Sharp Base) with the point cut down slightly smaller than semi-flat. Good stamina, passable defense, and limited movement (a loose flower pattern reaching at most about three-quarters of the way to the ridge), but its sharp-tip-like behavior gives it poor late-match stability; a slightly wider flat section would have made it competitive.

Weights are single copies weighed on their own; a part can vary by a few tenths of a gram.
