Dark Nebula Again

Dark Nebula Again (DNA) is the successor to Hades Inc. and the original Dark Nebula, founded by the Garcia family — former Beyblade World Championship competitors — to train elite bladers and rival the WBBA. Secretly led by a digitized, revived Doji, DNA is eventually defeated and disbanded, with its reformed core bladers going on to found the team Bridge to the Future.

What to know

  • Founded by Argo Garcia after the Nemesis Crisis, renaming what remained of Hades Inc.
  • Primary recruits are Yoshio Iwayama and Kira Hayama, later joined by Genjuro Kamegaki, Spike Bourne, and Captain Arrow.
  • Reprograms the AI Merci into 'Merci 2.0.'
  • Hosts the Neo Battle Bladers tournament to announce itself publicly, first hacking WBBA network communications.
  • Kira Hayama reaches the tournament's 'Best 4' before losing to protagonist Zyro Kurogane.
  • Captures Gingka Hagane and uses parts of his Bey to create Pegasus Bahamoote.
  • Doji reveals himself as DNA's true mastermind, having digitized his memory into Merci after his earlier death.
  • Disbanded after Zyro and allies defeat Doji's giant Beyblade-machine form and destroy DNA's headquarters.
  • Its reformed core bladers go on to found the independent team Bridge to the Future (BTF).

  • DNA stands for 'Dark Nebula Again,' Doji's way of reviving his original organization.
  • DNA is compared to the BEGA League from the Original Series: both are second-wave villain organizations formed after an earlier defeat, and both eventually see their top bladers reform into an independent team.
  • Five DNA members carry Beys themed on the Chinese Wu Xing, echoing the same design scheme used for the Original Series protagonists.
