Biography

Baihu Xiao is a sly, small-statured DNA member in Beyblade: Shogun Steel who tricks Gingka Hagane into an abandoned temple with a fake sob story, stealing his prized Samurai Pegasus W105R2F and setting a trap to leave him stranded. The stolen Beyblade is later handed to Kira Hayama to help create Pegasus Bahamoote SP230R2F. Baihu himself fights with the white-tiger-themed Berserker Byakko 125S, defeating Kite Unabara's Guardian Leviathan with his special move Fierce Tiger Blast before revealing DNA's plans and retreating, promising to return.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Baihu's spiky black hair rises into shapes that suggest a crown at the top, while the sides droop down into makeshift sideburns. His pale face carries a black birthmark on the forehead, thin eyebrows, a small nose, and six thin scar-like lines split three to a cheek that give him a feline cast; his eyes stay closed for most of the story, opening only when he turns serious. His usual robe is white with black highlights shaped like a cat's tear-marks, a collar carrying three red strips and yellow markings, worn over stiff black trousers and black-and-white shoes. When he tricked Gingka Hagane out of his Beyblade he wore something different instead — a white scarf, red t-shirt and black trousers. His overall look has drawn comparison to Ray Kon from the original trilogy.

Baihu's small frame belies how intimidating his presence actually is. He proved as much by tricking Gingka Hagane with a false story about being robbed, using the ruse to take his Samurai Pegasus for himself. Day to day he stays calm and composed, but he can turn fierce without warning when the moment calls for it, and his open eyes tend to signal exactly that shift into seriousness or malice. Having been raised in the wild by a white tiger, he carries an untamed ferocity and animal instinct that work strongly in his favour during battle.

Fierce Tiger Blast tore Kite's Leviathan apart and his trickery snared Gingka, but the Unabara brothers and Shinobu each beat him afterwards.
