About This Part
Eight Balance is a Weight Disk built for the Spin Gear System, first appearing with Shadow Driger. Its weight sits between the lighter Wide disks and the heavier Heavy disks, and that mass is spread evenly enough that it theoretically suits both Defense and Stamina combinations. Bladers commonly add the word Eight before its formal name of simply Balance, to set it apart from the six-sided and ten-sided versions in the same line.
In Play
In practice the community rarely reaches for it, since sturdier options exist for both Defense and Stamina, and even Balance-type builds tend to favour the heavier Ten Balance over Six or Eight Balance.
