Description
Tala moves up to Wolborg 2 as his Spin Gear System top, a Balance Type that follows the original Wolborg in the toyline and gives way to Wolborg 03 there, while the anime and manga instead carry him forward into Wolborg 4. It carries the Wolborg bit chip, Upper Wolf attack ring, Eight Balance weight disk, a bearing-version right Spin Gear and the Defense Grip Base 2.

Parts in detail
The gold colorway of this Beyblade reportedly suffers Gold Plastic Syndrome as severely as Uriel 2's does, to the point that the source advises against even assembling it due to breakage risk.
| Slot | Part | Weight | Spin | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Attack Ring | Upper Wolf | 5.0 (mold 1) / 5.2 (mold 2) g | Right and Left | A three-winged design broadly similar to Triple Wing but with steeper slopes and more outward-angled contact points that increase recoil and reduce power relative to Triple Wing. Right Spin gives an acceptable, second-tier Smash Attack option; Left Spin's forehead spikes and wolf-head backs offer some smash too, but need strong recoil control to be worth using. |
| Weight Disk | Eight Balance | 14.1 g | A middling-weight disk with an unremarkable mass spread, clearly behind almost every common competitive disk, Ten Balance especially. | |
| Spin Gear | Right Spin Gear Shells (Bearing Version) | 1.1 each (shells) + 1.12 (Metal Weight Gear, optional) g | Right | The bearing-compatible casing variant of the original right-spin shell; incompatible with Neo cores, so outclassed by Neo shells for most competitive builds. |
| Spin Gear | SG (Bearing Version 2) [Casings] | 0.55 each / 1.09 total, plus one bearing (unless housing SG Grip Change Base Tip) g | Holds one shielded ball bearing and most commonly carries SG (Bearing Version 2) Shaft, offering slightly better stability than Double Bearing Core at the cost of a bit less raw defense; can also house SG Grip Change Base Tip as a lower-height, less fragile stand-in for that tip's own dedicated base. | |
| Spin Gear | SG (Bearing Version 2) Shaft | 0.93 g | An MFB-style rubber 'Defense' tip mounted on a bearing-supported shaft; the bearing support offsets a rubber tip's normally poor survival while keeping strong spin-stealing ability, though it's less rock-stable than Neo SG (Double Bearing Version) Shaft since the rubber itself can grip and briefly sit at an angle. | |
| Blade Base | Defense Grip Base 2 | 5.7 g | A wide, edge-weighted base with excellent built-in life-after-death and broad compatibility with different shafts and casings, largely thanks to its unobtrusive shape. |
Weights are single copies weighed on their own; a part can vary by a few tenths of a gram.

Community testing, Nov. 07, 2011 — summarised
The competitive view
Wolborg 2 consists of the Upper Wolf attack ring, the Eight Balance weight disk, and the Bearing Version 2 spin gear. Upper Wolf's projections are considered too short for effective upper attack, and its outward-facing contact points are reported to create heavy recoil, ranking it below Burning Kerberous's Triple Attacker and the Dark Series's Dark Wing for smash attack. The Bearing Version 2 shaft is paired with specific bearing-supported casings for defense or for a more aggressive locked-tip setup.
