Description

Japan received Flash Sagittario 230WD, Kenta Yumiya's evolved form of Flame Sagittario C145S, on February 18th, 2012, carrying a Stamina rating in the 4D System line. Its Sagittario II face bolt sharpens the original's arrow-and-eye design, its energy ring borrows Flame's circular, spiked look in translucent gold with red-white-blue decals, and its 45.6-gram Flash fusion wheel can flip between an oval Attack Mode and a layered Stamina Mode, finished with a 230 spin track and a Wide Defense performance tip.

In play and in the story

Its oval Attack Mode is regarded as a strong low-recoil setup for shoving and unbalancing opponents, while switching to the layered Stamina Mode trades that pushing power for extra longevity at the cost of a lighter, easier-to-knock-out profile; either way, competitive players still rank its knockout resistance behind top attack wheels like Variares, Beat and Fang.

Community testing, Mar. 21, 2012 — summarised

The competitive view

Sagittario II's face and clear wheel share bow-and-arrow motifs, and Flash's metal frame and core reshape between a balanced four-winged stamina mode and an elongated attack mode with heavy outward mass and minimal recoil. The piece is rated an attack powerhouse via combos on H145 or GB145, though whether its claimed decent defense in stamina mode actually holds up is disputed given results reported elsewhere.
