Community testing, 2011-08-18 — summarised

The competitive view

Originally the 'Super Rare' prize in Random Booster Volume 7, later a SonoKong Starter. Combines the two-eared Lynx clear wheel with the two-piece, mode-switching Beat metal wheel (a Core plus a rotating PC Frame), the height-adjustable Triple Height 170 track, and the wide, long-precessing Wide Defense bottom -- called an excellent, well-rounded Beyblade across every battle style.

In Attack Mode (PC Frame exposing both contact points), Beat is rated one of the best right-spin attack wheels, best at mid-to-low height; Defense Mode still leaves part of the contact points exposed and is outclassed by heavier wheels regardless. TH170's height-change makes it more adaptable than fixed-height 230 against both 145-height and low-track opponents, at a small cost to its funnel shape. WD gives very long, low-RPM precession for strong pure Stamina, though its wide wobble angle can be a liability and it needs care on tall tracks.

Verdict as the draft gives it: Rated as excellent across every battle type -- a rare trait -- with Beat comparable to VariAres or Blitz for attack, TH170 used in top-tier Defense, Stamina, and Balance combos, and WD still viable for Stamina; the article recommends every blader own at least one.

  • 4D Clear Wheel Lynx weight: 3.06 grams
  • 4D Metal Wheel Beat total weight: 38.6 grams (Core + PC Frame)
  • Track Triple Height 170 (TH170) weight: 4.39 grams, changes between 170/195/220 mm heights without CH120's mid-battle slip issue
  • Bottom Wide Defense (WD) weight: 0.7 grams
