After his loss to Yoshio, Kite trains obsessively toward mastering Synchrom. Zyro takes on Shinobu and Ren together in an inconclusive tag-team match to sharpen everyone's skills. Elsewhere Gen Kikura loses to Takanosuke, who then loses to the Unabara brothers' new Synchrom combo, Orochi Leviathan, after they flood the stadium to knock out his Archer Griffin. Sakyo, watching, learns of Synchrom and recruits Takanosuke as a future partner.
