Description

Rago pilots Diablo Nemesis X:D as the villain of Beyblade: Metal Fury, its Balance-type build the form Nemesis takes once Prototype Nemesis absorbs the power of the Star Fragments. Takara Tomy released it as a Starter in Japan on December 28, 2011, pairing the Nemesis A Face Bolt and Energy Ring with the Diablo Fusion Wheel and X Drive tip under the 4D System. Several recolors followed it: a Dragren version tied to the 2012 Dragon Campaign and echoed by a further Hong Kong run through Mani Limited, a gold CoroCoro-lottery version linked to the Strongest Dragonis 4D Guide, a gunmetal-and-red WBBA tournament prize, and a Hasbro Spark FX recolor.

The competitive view

Covers the 4D Balance Beyblade Diablo Nemesis X:D (BB-122), a design tribute that folds visual and mechanical elements from nearly every prior 4D Beyblade into its Nemesis Face, Clear Wheel, and the record-heavy Diablo Metal Wheel, which introduced a semi-free-spinning Metal Frame and an alternate Ultimate Balance Mode using the widest 4D Bottom ever released.

Diablo's extreme weight and aggressive shape make it a poor fit for pure Defense or Stamina but strong in Balance/Anti-Attack roles; Attack Mode (Metal Frame fixed upright) is considered clearly superior to Ultimate Balance Mode, whose free-spinning tip-changing gimmick trades attack power for little real stamina gain and depends on the otherwise outclassed X:D bottom.

Verdict as the draft gives it: MF-H Diablo Kerbecs BD145R2F is cited as an effective Anti-Attack combo with high win rates against top attack-type combos of its era, though acknowledged as less powerful overall than Zero-G's two-wheel Synchrom combinations.

  • Clear Wheel: Nemesis - 3.23 grams
  • Metal Wheel: Diablo - 51.26 grams total, the heaviest standalone Metal Wheel released (Metal Frame 25.35 grams, Core 25.94 grams)
  • Diablo's Metal Frame carries three sculpted heads (Leone, Lynx, Orion/Phantom) and can spin semi-freely in Ultimate Balance Mode
  • Bottom: X:Drive (X:D) - 7.19 grams, the widest 4D Bottom released, cycling between XF, S²D (Stern Semi Defense), and S tips
  • Overall assembled weight reported at 62.73 grams
