Gimmick Specialty

Released beginning June 2004, this line, known in Japan as the Gimmick Specialty Series, or GS Series, closed out the Hard Metal System and, with it, the Original Series toyline entirely. Every top in the line carried its own mechanism or gimmick and used a product code in the MA-XX format, spanning boosters, starters, and random boosters through to February 2005.
