Description
Takara issued Round Shell MS as a Defense-Type top in the Hard Metal System line, on sale in Japan from September 25th, 2004. Its Turtle Crusher ring pairs with a Rubber Weight Core and Turtle Emblem protector, and the set bundles a Running Shooter grip that only works alongside a separately sold HMS Customize Grip. Tipped onto its side in the special running mode, the top rolls like a tire rather than spinning, a novelty with no bearing on tournament play.
