Description
Dark Leopard MS is a Balance Type Hard Metal System top built for the gimmick-focused side of the line, headlined by its Tornado Change Core running core. Its stack also carries the Dark Emblem Bit Protector, a second-mould piece tighter than earlier versions, the Smash Leopard attack ring and the Needle Attacker weight disk, and it turned up in grey and yellow forms as part of the Beyblade Fukubako 2005 lucky-bag line.

In play and in the story
Community opinion treats this as a gimmick piece rather than a tournament pick alongside Death Gargoyle MS or Wolborg MS: the Tornado Change Core is enjoyable and simple enough for newer players, but its attack ring and weight disk lag well behind its running core, so collectors chasing a full Hard Metal System set are the natural audience rather than competitive players.
- Issued in grey and yellow forms as part of the Beyblade Fukubako 2005 lucky-bag line.

The competitive view
Dark Leopard MS ('Metal Sweeper') is a Hard Metal System 'Gimmick series' Beyblade whose Tornado Change Core running core mechanically shifts between a spring-loaded sharp tip and an offensive mode as spin speed drops, though this gimmick is noted as unreliable in serious battle.
Smash Leopard's small ABS Caul contact points give modest left-spin Force Smash (less pronounced than Advance Attacker or Eternal Survivor) and even less right-spin Smash Attack; Needle Attacker's spikes only marginally wear down opponent endurance, well behind a wheel like Wolborg MS; Tornado Change Core plays like a successor to Dranzer V2's Customize Clutch base, starting in a spin-in-place sharp-tip mode before shifting to an offensive mode as it slows, but risks wasting spin circling the stadium if it shifts too early, and shares Dranzer MS's Manual Change Core's poor-balance/tall-height drawback.
Verdict as the draft gives it: Called part of the toy line's 'gimmick series,' fun but not competitive-tier like Death Gargoyle MS or Wolborg MS; recommended only for players expanding an HMS collection, not for competitive players.
- Bit Protector: Dark Emblem (second-mold Bit Protector)
- Attack Ring: Smash Leopard, 18 grams, shares its Metal Frame with Smash Phoenix (Dranzer MF) and God Smasher (Shining God MS)
- Weight Disk: Needle Attacker, 16 grams, free-spinning, 8 spikes
- Running Core: Tornado Change Core, 3 grams, spring-loaded mode-shifting tip
- Other versions: HMS Random Booster 4 (Combat Green); HMS Random Booster 4 (Combat Yellow)
