Rush Launch

The Rush Launch ("Rush Shoot" in Japan) is Valt Aoi's signature launching technique across several Valtryek Beyblades, also adopted by Rashad Goodman for his Salvage Valtryek Shot-7: Valt lowers his launcher to boost rotational speed and releases at a lower angle so Valtryek rides the stadium's slope into the opponent, hitting it with a fast barrage before it can escape — though an inaccurate angle risks scraping the Layer against the floor and killing its spin.

What to know

  • Considered the franchise's first named launching technique in the anime, directly inspiring later ones such as Aiger Akabane's Z Launch, Turbo Launch, Unison Launch, and Zeal Launch, Dante Koryu's Dragon Launch, Hikaru Hizashi's Solar Launch, Bel Daizora's Daring/Devastate/Divine/Destined Launch, and Pri Forsythe's Tidal Launch and Flame Launch.
  • Possibly inspired by the real-world "Sliding Shoot" launch technique, since both send the Beyblade in a flower-shaped pattern.
  • Sword Valtryek Blitz Power Retsu is the one Valtryek that never uses it, so it's absent from Beyblade Burst Rise.
  • Trivia notes Hyuga Hizashi is the only protagonist without any named launch technique of his own.
