White Gabriel G

Attack type Engine Gear System
Code
G-205

Description

Hasbro built White Gabriel G as its own take on the original Gabriel, borrowing components from Dragoon G for an Attack Type Engine Gear System top. Its Gabriel Bit Chip sits above a Twin Horn Attack Ring that Hasbro reworked so Sub-Attack Rings mount directly to it, unlike the Takara version, where Sub-Attack Rings instead fit onto the Blade Base. The build rounds out with a Ten Wide Weight Disk, a Metal Semi-Flat Engine Gear and a First Clutch Blade Base.

Parts in detail

Hasbro's alternate version of Gabriel, built on Dragoon G's parts. The attack ring and sub-attack-ring names on this page are the source's best guesses, unconfirmed by official material. Despite box art and printed stats referencing Revolver Attack, the physical release actually ships with a Ten Wide weight disk.

SlotPartWeightSpinNote
Attack Ring Twin Horn (Hasbro) - Core Ring 4.1 (ring alone) / 5.9 (with sub ring fitted) g Right and Left Modified from Takara's Twin Horn to accept a sub-ring, replacing the wing gimmick lost when this version moved to an Engine Gear System chassis. Its rounded rear contact points give very low recoil in Left Spin, making it strong for spin-stealing and defense/zombie builds on a wide-format disk, at a slight cost to raw survival compared to the unmodified Takara ring.
Sub Attack Ring Twin Horn (Hasbro) SAR 1.8 g A rigid-plastic recreation of the 'Wing' sub-ring from Gabriel's SG Wing Base. Free-spinning in theory, but its width gives opponents enough leverage to create serious recoil in practice.
Weight Disk Ten Wide 14.0 (Takara/Hasbro) / 14.3 (SonoKong G-Blade) g A moderately light, outward-weighted disk, solid for Smash Attack but outclassed by Wide Defense/Wide Survivor for spin-stealing or survival due to recoil.
Spin Gear Left Customize Engine Gear 6.6 g Left A CEW-compatible left-spin engine gear that fires more slowly and weakly than Left Engine Gear (Turbo). Its gimmick rarely pays off since the resulting combo sits too tall to reliably connect with opponents.
Blade Base First Clutch Base (Dragoon G Version) 7.6 g Activates its clutch at the start of the match. Its spiked front gives modest Left-Spin offense but the base is nearly useless facing Right.
Other Metal Semi-Flat (Customize Engine Weight / tip) 3.6 g A beveled semi-flat tip derived from the stock engine-gear tip; too aggressive to hold up defensively and not grippy or fast enough to shine offensively given the tall engine-gear stack.

Weights are single copies weighed on their own; a part can vary by a few tenths of a gram.

Community testing, Dec. 07, 2015 — summarised

The competitive view

White Gabriel G's Hasbro-mold Twin Horn attack ring carries its sub-attack ring on the main ring because the beyblade uses an Engine Gear base instead of the usual SG Free Wing base. It also has the common Ten Wide weight disk, a unique Left Customize Engine Gear, and a First Clutch base whose eight protrusions mostly cause recoil rather than useful attack.
