Description

The blade of King, the louder half of the parts-hunting royal pair who turn up for the V-Force World Championship. Ariel is a heavy attacker assembled from parts stripped off beaten opponents, and King's habit of double-teaming with Queen is how they wreck Dranzer V's attack ring on the beach. The pair's arc is a warning about treating Beyblades as loot; Tyson's win over King in the tag semifinal is a rebuke delivered in the dish.

King spins Uriel 2 in the anime, a Balance Type Takara released in Japan in September 2002 inside Random Booster 8 as part of the Magnacore System. It follows on from Uriel and swaps in a Neo Cross Horn Attack Ring, Star Attack Weight Disk, a Metal Weight version of the Neo Right Spin Gear, and an SG Grip Change Base. Hasbro's western counterpart, Capricorn Strike G, pairs the same core with an Engine Stopper Base Blade Base instead.

Parts in detail

Name confirmed via the Random Booster 8 instruction sheet, romanized the same way Orthrus's name was confirmed. Suffers badly from Gold Plastic Syndrome, a known brittleness affecting certain gold-colored plastic runs, severe enough that assembling it can snap the base clips; aside from its tip, the source advises against relying on it competitively.

SlotPartWeightSpinNote
Attack Ring Neo Cross Horn 5.7 g Right and Left Hits hard in both spin directions via thick, angular contact points, making it a genuinely powerful Hyper-Aggressive Smash Attack ring on paper. Takara's molding suffers acutely from Gold Plastic Syndrome and is prone to breaking within a few matches, while Hasbro's softer-plastic release (from Capricorn Strike G) wears faster but doesn't share the breakage risk.
Weight Disk Star Attack 15.6 g A heavy, compact five-pointed star disk. Holes at each point make its main contact areas somewhat fragile for a weight disk, and its shape suffers heavy recoil against most attack rings, except Penta Wing, with which it forms a genuinely competitive Traditional Upper Attack pairing.
Spin Gear Neo Right Spin Gear Shells (Metal Weight Version) 1.15 each / 2.3 total g Right The standard Neo-style right-spin shell housing, preferred for compatibility with all SG-compatible bases and Neo cores, including the Heavy Metal Core.
Spin Gear Metal Weight Core 2.5 g A Neo-only core adding a small internal metal weight; slightly lighter than a Magnecore, so it rarely stands out but is a safe pick for most attack builds.
Support Part Over Attack 1.03 each g An inherently fragile aggressive support part providing modest smash and matching recoil, generally outperformed as an aggressive support piece by Reverse Attack, and outperformed for most attack builds by low-recoil defensive parts like Survivor Ring or Twin Guard.
Blade Base SG Grip Change Base 5.4 g A tall base built specifically to house SG Grip Change Base Tip; also suffers from Gold Plastic Syndrome, and the tip's aggressive grip transmits enough shock that breakage remains a serious risk even with a Defense Ring fitted.
Other SG Grip Change Base Tip 0.24 g A uniquely gripping rubber tip with separate sharp (defense) and flat (attack) faces, similar in concept to the HMS-era Grip Flat Core (Ultimate Version). One of the fastest, most recoil-controlled attack tips in plastics.

Weights are single copies weighed on their own; a part can vary by a few tenths of a gram.
