Biography

King is one half of a pair of parts hunters working the World Championship qualifiers, stripping components off the blades they beat. He blades Ariel with a swaggering, aggressive style, and he and Queen make their name by shredding Dranzer V's attack ring, which is what forces Kai to build Dranzer V2. They are thieves with rules: anyone who beats them gets their parts back. He picks a brawl with Dunga at the tournament gala, draws with Kai, and later teams with Tyson against Dr K — who had hired the pair to take Dragoon — before finishing their own duel honestly. Losing to Tyson is what teaches him that experience is worth more than stolen parts. He and Queen appear once more in the Japanese ending of G-Revolution, blading Raul and Julia.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Tall and lean, King wears his white hair long and wavy, styled so that a sweep of it falls across one eye almost all the time. His clothing matches his partner Queen's down to the last detail, the two dressed as a uniformed pair rather than as individuals.

Alongside Queen, King approaches thieving with total seriousness, treating the theft of Beyblade parts as a craft worth taking pride in. The pair's results speak for themselves: among the series' villains, none evade capture as consistently as they do. Yet there is a code beneath the crime — if a victim tracks them down, King and Queen will stake the stolen parts on a beybattle, and if the challenger wins, they hand everything back without argument or excuse.

Beyblade V-Force (2002)

King & Queen (parts hunters)

Working the qualifiers as a parts thief with his sister Queen, he empties out shop after shop before turning on working bladers, and stripping the Mystics' gear before the prelims is what starts drawing real attention his way. Cornering Kai on the beach for his power ring, he can't close it out alone and needs Queen to step in before the two of them force a Blade break together. He needles Dunga into a brawl that ends in a draw, then goes to work for Dr. K, beating Joseph and Mariam before facing Tyson — and when Dr. K cheats to steal Dragoon outright, he drops his own fight to help stop her, loses the rematch that follows, and walks away caring less about parts than the match itself.
