Description

Known in Japan as L-Drago Destroy F:S, this Attack Type top reached Takara Tomy's Japanese shelves as a Starter release on April 23, 2011 and is built from the L-Drago III Face Bolt, the L-Drago Destructor Fusion Wheel and the Final Survive Performance Tip. Beyblade: Metal Fury has Ryuga evolve it from Meteo L-Drago LW105LF, and the toyline carries it forward into L-Drago Destroy DF105LRF and L-Drago Guardian S130MB. Hasbro later sold recoloured copies under its Hyperblades and Hyper-Strike Battle Set lines, and the Beyblade Legends re-release swaps in a lightened Hasbro mould for the Fusion Wheel.

The competitive view

L-Drago Destroy F:S (BB-108) is a 4D System Attack Beyblade built around the two-piece L-Drago Destroy Metal Wheel (a plastic/rubber Core beneath a Metal Frame) with a mode-changing gimmick, paired with the fully automatic Final Survive (F:S) Bottom.

Attack Mode is judged superior to Absorb Mode for Smash Attack since the rubber protrusions make more contact there; in Attack Mode the wheel is seen as an upgrade to Lightning L-Drago but outclassed for raw power by Blitz and VariAres, though it produces less recoil, making combos like MF L-Drago Destroy BD145MF a more reliable choice against Stamina customs than harder-hitting wheels. F:S itself is judged to have no competitive use, since its automatic tip-switching disrupts balance and its wide HF-style tip struggles to hold a Sliding Shoot pattern.

Verdict as the draft gives it: The Metal Wheel is usable in specific Attack roles despite being outclassed by top wheels, and the article calls the Beyblade a welcome, if non-essential, collection addition, noting Meteo L-Drago should be used instead for Spin Stealing.

  • L-Drago Destroy Metal Wheel: 44.29 grams total (one the record cites the Metal Frame alone at about 38.45 grams)
  • Two modes, Attack Mode and Absorb Mode, switched by rotating the Core 180 degrees
  • Final Survive (F:S) Bottom: 5.73 grams, automatically switches between a Hole Flat-style tip and a Sharp tip as spin slows
  • Other versions: L-Drago Destroy DF105LRF Gold Armored Ver. (WBBA exclusive, gold), L-Drago Destroy F:S Legend Beyblade Ver. (WBBA exclusive, gold)
