About This Part
On April 23, 2011 Takara Tomy put Final Survive (F:S), a 4D System Performance Tip, on shelves in Japan inside the BB-108 Starter L-Drago Destroy F:S, with Hasbro's Hyper-Strike Battle Set later carrying it west. A launch spins its sliders outward and locks a Spike tip in place to form an aggressive Hole Flat; as spin decreases that Spike tip ejects to conserve what rotation remains, mirroring Final Drive's switch but in the opposite direction — moving from an Attack mode into a Stamina mode.
In Play
Its Spike mode was meant to complement L-Drago Destructor's spin-absorbing ability, but poor friction means it actually absorbs less spin than its Hole Flat mode does, a shortcoming the community notes when discussing the part.
- Debuted in Japan on April 23, 2011 with the BB-108 Starter L-Drago Destroy F:S.
- It is the only 4D Bottom whose name omits the word "Drive".
- Its two-stage switching is considered similar in design to Reboot and its variants from the Burst Series, and in function to Right SG (Auto Clutch Base Ver.), Full Auto Clutch Base from the Original Series, and Generate from the Burst Series.
