What to know
- Formed by Boris Balkov, BEGA's director, from talented but low-profile players worldwide to front his plan for world domination.
- Roster: Garland Siebald (Apollon, de facto leader), Brooklyn (Zeus, de jure leader), Ming-Ming (Venus), Mystel (Poseidon), Crusher (Gigars); Hiro Granger later coaches, then defects back to the BBA.
- Boris rigs an internal BEGA tournament to select this exact five while appearing fair to the public.
- In the Justice 5 Tournament, Daichi loses to Ming-Ming, Ray loses to Crusher, Max ties Mystel, Kai beats Brooklyn, and Tyson beats Garland, forcing a tie-breaker between Tyson and Brooklyn.
- The Tyson-Brooklyn tie-breaker spirals into a destructive clash, with the Bladebreakers' bit-beasts (Draciel, Wolborg, Dranzer, Driger, Strata Dragoon) all lending power to Dragoon before Tyson calms Brooklyn down.
- After BEGA disbands, the five keep functioning together as a team under the Justice Five name.
- Also called Team BEGA, a name used to avoid confusing the team with the tournament named after it.

- All five bit-beasts are mythological: Apollon, Poseidon and Zeus from Greek myth, Gigars from the Greek Gigantes, and Venus from Roman legend.
- Boris previously coached the Demolition Boys, whom the Justice Five later beat.
- Garland and Brooklyn are both noted for injuring opponents mid-battle — Garland knocked out and injured several rivals, Brooklyn nearly destroyed Kai's Dranzer twice.
- The name is ironic, since the team was really a tool for a world-domination scheme rather than a force for justice.
