Community testing, Jul. 13, 2013 — summarised

The competitive view

Covers the Zero-G attack-type Beyblade Samurai Pegasis W105R²F (BBG-26, God element): its Pegasis Stone Face and Chrome Wheel, the mode-changing Samurai Crystal Wheel, the Wing 105 Track, and the Right Rubber Flat (R²F) Bottom, including R²F's three known factory mold variants.

Pegasis performs poorly as the top wheel in a Synchrom because its blunt wing edges barely make contact, but becomes a viable attacker on the bottom of a Synchrom under Gryph, which exposes its sharper edges for real smash attack. R²F is faster but lower-stamina than the older RF tip and needs wearing-in before it flowers reliably; the Samurai Crystal Wheel's Crystal-Up mode absorbs more shock than its default Chrome-Up mode.

Verdict as the draft gives it: Samurai (as a Crystal Wheel) and W105 are described as heavily outclassed by 4D and Synchrom combinations; Pegasis under Gryph (Pegasis Gryph W145R²F) is the one cited viable attack use.

  • Stone Face: Pegasis - 1.2 grams
  • Crystal Wheel: Samurai - 5.4 grams, bright transparent blue
  • Track: Wing 105 (W105) - 1.2 grams, transparent pink-red
  • Bottom: Right Rubber Flat (R²F) - 0.8 grams, transparent red-pink
  • R²F Mold 1 (Takara-Tomy/Sonokong): thick centre bar; Mold 2 (original Hasbro): no bar, unstable; Mold 3 (Hasbro GanGan Galaxy Set): two unconnected partial bars
