About This Part

Takara Tomy released Samurai, called Warriors in South Korea, as an Element Wheel for the Synchrome System. It debuted in Japan on March 31, 2012 with the BBG-01 starter Samurai Ifraid W145CF, and reached western countries in May 2013 as Hasbro's SS-01 starter Samurai Ifrit W145CF. Its circular rim is broken up by cuts, gaps and square motifs, with a mounted crystal that seats into a Warrior Wheel.

In Play

Takara Tomy markets Samurai as a top Attack-type Element Wheel, and bladers have found genuine use for it in Attack builds alongside the Ifrit Warrior Wheel, even though its overall balance is milder than that billing suggests; set against a full Synchrome pairing of two Warrior Wheels, though, it is still outclassed and mainly kept for collecting.
