About This Part
Pegasus, or Pegasis in Japan, is the Synchrome System's follow-up to the 4D System Fusion Wheels Cosmic and Wing, borrowing design cues from both. Takara Tomy released it in Japan on December 1, 2012 as the BBG-26 Starter Samurai Pegasis W105R²F, and Hasbro followed in March 2014 with the SS-26 Starter Pack Samurai Pegasus W105R2F. Three interlaced feathered wings make up most of the piece, three smaller wings form hook-like knots between them, and two Pegasus heads with long necks circle the inner ring.
In Play
Set on top of a Synchrome, Pegasus makes contact through its six wings and stands as a workable stand-in for Smash Attack wheels like Wyvern; its stronger role is on the bottom, where its two heads face into an opponent below and grant Force Smash. Its six-sided shape gives it little synergy outside of pairing with itself or sitting under Griffin for extra RPM in standard play, or under Bandit for the WBO's Metal Fight Limited format.
- Debuted in Japan on December 1, 2012, with the BBG-26 Starter Samurai Pegasis W105R²F.
- Released in western countries in March 2014 as the SS-26 Starter Pack Samurai Pegasus W105R2F.
