About This Part
Right Rubber Flat, written R2F, is Takara Tomy's sharpened follow-up to Rubber Flat, first sold in Japan on April 1st, 2010 with the BB-70 Starter Galaxy Pegasis W105R2F and brought west inside the Triple Battle Set. It keeps Rubber Flat's rubber tip but cuts six curves into it running one direction, giving the base a star-like outline. Those curves grip the stadium floor harder, so the Beyblade launches faster and hits harder than Rubber Flat does, though its stamina drops even lower in trade. Because the fresh curves make it hard to control at first, bladers typically wear a new one down through a few practice matches before using it seriously.
In Play
Once broken in, the community treats it as a top pick for Attack builds, and each maker's mould differs slightly in how the rubber's internal support bar is placed, which changes how stable a fresh copy feels.
- Debuted in Japan on April 1st, 2010 with BB-70 Starter Galaxy Pegasis W105R2F.
- Reached western countries through the Triple Battle Set.
- Takara Tomy, Sonokong, and Hasbro each produced a distinct mould of the internal support bar.
- Its function and shape carry through to the Jolt Performance Tip and its variants in the Burst Series.
