Description
Magical Balancer is one of the Bearing Gyro entries in the Spin Gear System, put together from the Balance gyro holder casing, the Gyro Defense attack ring, the Gyro Super weight disk and the Gyro Spin Gear shaft-and-bearing unit. It reached Japanese shelves in December 2000 as part of the Bearing Gyro Beyblade lineup. Early packaging misprinted its name as "Barancer". The Gyro Defense ring is prized for long unassisted spin times thanks to its balanced mass and rounded edges, though the seam between its two halves causes it to kick back hard on contact.

In play and in the story
Competitive players lean on Gyro Defense mainly for pure spin-time contests rather than head-to-head combat, since its recoil-prone gaps punish it against sturdier defensive tips, though it pairs well with a Full Auto Clutch shaft for endurance-style zombie builds.
