About This Part
Gyro Defense is an Attack Ring from the Spin Gear System, fitted to Beyblades in the Bearing Gyro lineup and weighing 3.9 grams. Its rounded outer edges and balanced mass distribution give it an unusually long solo spin time, though the seams between its two halves and their flat ends create sharp recoil whenever they make contact. Its sloped upper surface tends to let opponents push it downward, further exposing those recoil-prone gaps, which makes it a poor match for typical Survival-oriented tips despite its strong raw spin stamina.
In Play
In right-spin its twin protrusions form a top-tier Smash Attack ring, if with somewhat more recoil than rivals like Triple Wing, though wear on those protrusions tempers how strongly it can be recommended; in left-spin it struggles at direct Smash Attack but becomes a highly regarded pick for Spin-Stealing Attack, and paired with a Full Auto Clutch Version Shaft and a Customize Grip Base it ranks among the strongest offensive spin-stealing combinations in the format.
