Description

The blade of BEGA's gentle giant, who blades for the prize money that pays for his sister's medical care. Gigars is the heaviest hitter in the league, a blade that can shatter opponents outright, and Crusher's first match with Tyson shows the gulf between BEGA's pros and everyone else. In the second Justice 5 match it batters Ray's Driger MS until both bladers are spent, a draw that Crusher accepts with more grace than his employer.

Gigars is Crusher's Balance-Type top from Beyblade: G-Revolution, built around an Engine Gear system that starts locked in attack mode before its clutch tabs release the gear to spin freely for a stamina-focused endurance phase. Its Gigantic Claw attack ring and Ten Balance weight disk, at 15 grams, sit above a Hit Release Base tuned specifically for Gigars, with a Metal Change custom engine weight standing in for the tips used on Driger S and V2. Hasbro's version shipped with a standard right-spin engine gear.

Parts in detail

Original Takara release, distinguished from the later Hasbro version by its Right Customize Gear (Full Auto Clutch Version) Spin Gear and Metal Change CEW tip, versus Hasbro's plain Right Customize Engine Gear and Metal Semi-Flat CEW.

SlotPartWeightSpinNote
Attack Ring Gigantic Claw 6.6 g Right (Upper Attack); Left (weak) A large, aggressively shaped ring that's mediocre for pure Smash Attack in either direction due to poor contact-point exposure and heavy recoil, but strong for traditional right-spin Upper Attack thanks to its slopes' Upward Smash and Upper Attack output; rated a top-tier Upper Attack part now that Storm Grip Base tip-inversion is legal.
Weight Disk Ten Balance 15.0 g The same generically strong, compact, edge-focused weight disk used across this batch, good for RPM retention and survivability.
Spin Gear Right Customize Gear (Full Auto Clutch Version) 5.1 g Right A hybrid gimmick based on Full Auto Clutch Base's free-spin mechanic, but without the shielded ball bearings that make that part effective, leaving it with poor survival while free-spinning; collectors judge it as doing two jobs (fixed and free-spin) poorly rather than either one well.
Blade Base Final Clutch Base (Gigars Version) 7.6 g A bulky, recoil-prone Engine-Gear-compatible base whose late-triggering clutch occasionally produces a late offensive push, but by that point the Beyblade usually has too little rotational energy left for it to matter; even simpler Normal Bases tend to outperform it within the Engine Gear system.
Other Customize Engine Weight: Metal Change 3.6 g A well-executed, fairly aggressive Metal Change-style tip with solid all-around stamina and controllability, making it a good general Engine Gear testing tip, though this is undercut by the broader competitive weaknesses of the Engine Gear system as a whole.

Weights are single copies weighed on their own; a part can vary by a few tenths of a gram.
