About This Part
This Right Customize Gear mirrors the Spin Gear and Blade Base gimmick built into Driger F, opening in an attack mode before its clutch tabs release on the Blade Base to let the gear spin freely in an endurance mode. It debuted with the release of Gigars in September 2003; Hasbro's version of Gigars instead ships with a plain right-spin Engine Gear rather than this clutch mechanism.

Collector's Note
Based on Full Auto Clutch Base and its SG: the tip locks in place while the clutch is engaged and spins free once released. It lacks the shielded-metal-ball-bearing support and the good-LAD base options that make the parts it's derived from actually work, so it can't compensate for trying to do two different jobs (locked vs. free tip) at once; without those bearings, its free-spin survivability is remarkably poor, undercutting the whole gimmick. Collectors summarize it as doing two things poorly rather than one thing well, without even offering a useful middle ground versus more specialized parts — even Right Customize Gear (Free Shaft Version) beats it for the EG system's intended purpose. First Clutch bases and Normal Bases tend to release the free-spin almost immediately (defeating the point), while Final Clutch activates it later, closer to how Full Auto Clutch Base behaves, but the lack of good bearings still makes that largely pointless. Used on Gigars (Takara release only).
