About This Part
X Drive, or X:D, is a Takara Tomy Performance Tip built for the 4D System, debuting in Japan on December 27, 2011 with the BB-122 Starter Diablo Nemesis X:D and reaching the West through the Spark FX Diablo Nemesis X:D Starter Pack. Like the earlier Delta Drive, it carries a tip-swap gimmick, cycling between three built-in tips: Extreme Flat, Spike, and a newly introduced shape called Stealth Semi-Defense. When paired with the Diablo Fusion Wheel in its Ultimate Balance Mode, the swap happens automatically as spin velocity drops; in Attack Mode, it only changes when the blader triggers it by hand.
