Beyblaster

A pistol-grip Hasbro launcher for Metal Fusion using a spring-and-slide mechanism instead of a string or ripcord, produced in short supply near the end of the Metal Fusion line and later reissued with new colors for Metal Masters.

What to know

  • Uses a spring-and-ratchet mechanism, wound by turning the Bey on the prongs or racking the slide up to 10 times
  • Produces a comparatively weak launch, similar to Burst's later Precision Strike Launcher, though less physically demanding to use
  • Has a safety switch preventing firing unless the prongs face downward
  • Originally released in short supply near the end of Metal Fusion, making original units rare; reissued with new colors for Metal Masters
