About This Part
Karma is a disc Takara Tomy released for the Dynamite Battle Layer System, debuting in Japan on September 11th, 2021 with the B-189 Guilty Longinus Karma Metal Destroy-2 booster. It carries ten upward-sloping blades around its rim, intended to generate upper force under left-spin and downward force under right-spin, effectively serving as the Dynamite Battle counterpart to Nine. In theory the blades should improve grip or reduce friction against the stadium floor depending on spin direction, but in practice the effect is minor and the blades cut into life-after-death, leaving Karma best suited to attack builds given its shape and weight spread.
In Play
Competitive players see Karma as outclassed for attack builds by other Dynamite Battle discs such as Fortress and Giga, which bring more stamina, weight, and versatility, making it a welcome rather than essential pick for the WBO's Burst format and ineligible for the WBO's Burst GT, Limited, or Classic formats.
- Released in Japan September 11th, 2021 with the B-189 Guilty Longinus Karma Metal Destroy-2 booster.
- The B-196 blue version of Karma is meant to pair with Guilty Longinus Karma Metal Destroy-2 and nods to the original colour of the Nine disc.
