Chain comes from Takara Tomy as a right-spin Defense Type BU Blade bearing the Burst System and Burst Ultimate Layer Series tags, plus a Dynamite Battle Layer System one, first sold in Japan on May 28th, 2022, through the B-198 Random Booster Vol. 29. Its rugged round body carries six retractable rubber chains and two plastic ones; on most DB Cores the rim pushes those rubber chains outward, but the rounder Kerbeus DB Core instead lets them pull inward on impact, a gimmick meant to soften hits.
In Play
In real matches that cushioning barely registers, so Chain combinations still fall to Knockouts against Attack setups; it holds a small niche against opposite-spin opponents such as Guilty combinations, though Barricade covers that job more effectively, and the community rates it outclassed in both Defense and Stamina roles — not recommended for the WBO's Burst format and not legal in Burst GT, Burst Limited or Burst Classic.
