Draciel is the Spirit of Water, one of the four Sacred Bit-Beasts, and belongs to Max Tate. It takes the form of a giant, armored, black-and-purple anthropomorphic turtle modeled on the snapping or alligator turtle, echoing Max's defense-focused Beyblade style. Draciel descends from Max's grandmother's heirloom pendant and is named after Xuan Wu, the Black Tortoise of Chinese mythology, with Draciel also nodding to the Navy SEALs.
