About This Part

Takara Tomy built Wide Defense 145 (WD145) around three fixed wings, a look close to ED145 but without that Track's free-spinning motion. It first shipped in Japan on February 22nd, 2009 with the BB-24 Booster Escolpio WD145B, then reached western shelves in August 2011 through the BB-82A Starter Pack Grand Cetus WD145RS.

In Play

Community consensus places it behind every other major Defense Track, including C145, GB145, BD145 and 230, since it cannot cushion impacts as well; low Attack-type opponents can also wedge their Wheel between the stadium and WD145, producing heavy recoil and spin loss for the WD145 user.

  • Debuted in western countries with the BB-82A Starter Pack Grand Cetus WD145RS in August 2011.
