About This Part

Revolve is a Driver that Takara Tomy released for the Burst System, also serving the Dual Layer System, and it carries the Stamina classification. It debuted in Japan on April 2nd, 2016 inside the B-36 Booster, Rising Ragnaruk Gravity Revolve, before reaching western stores through Hasbro's Raging Roktavor R2 Gravity Revolve starter pack. The tip is a thin, sharp point ringed by a free-spinning collar; the point keeps friction against the stadium floor low for strong stamina and burst defence, while the wide collar counteracts the destabilizing risk that such a narrow point would otherwise carry.

In Play

The free-spinning collar also grants long precession, which helps against opposite-spin and mobile stamina rivals, and gives fair knockout resistance when launched at an angle, though that resistance trails Orbit and Atomic because of its smaller contact area. Community builders paired it with Deep Chaos or Screw Trident and a wide ring such as 0/2/4/5/7 Glaive or Cross to out-spin most same-spin opponents, though such a build stays weak to attack combinations. Takara Tomy's version was rated among the better choices for pure stamina and stationary attack play until Bearing and Eternal arrived to beat opposite-spin Atomic builds, after which it became a welcome extra rather than a must-own; Hasbro's copy has a noticeably weaker spring lock than Survive and is regarded strictly as a collection piece.

  • Released in Japan on April 2nd, 2016 as part of the B-36 Booster, Rising Ragnaruk Gravity Revolve.
  • Reached western markets through Hasbro's Raging Roktavor R2 Gravity Revolve Starter Pack.
  • Reprinted by Hasbro inside the Pro Series Heaven Pegasus 10Proof Low Sen Starter Pack using lighter plastic.
  • A translucent Platinum Ver. recolour of Revolve was distributed in Japan through a Platinum Driver Ticket Campaign, redeemed with a CoroCoro magazine ticket after roughly 2000 yen of Takara Tomy Beyblade Burst purchases.
  • A Guren Ver. recolour of Revolve was distributed in Japan through a Cho-Z Bey Get Campaign under a similar ticket-and-purchase requirement at participating stores.

The Competitive View

Delivers strong stamina performance in combos like Doomscizor Heavy/Gravity Revolve (pairing a hard-to-burst layer with Revolve's stamina and smoothness), and functions defensively in Wyvron Heavy/Gravity Revolve, where its surrounding ring helps parry attacks while outlasting opponents.

Verdict as the draft gives it: A strong stamina-oriented tip, comparable in concept to MFB's AS driver.

  • Debuted April 2, 2016 with Roktavor R2 Gravity Revolve
  • the record stat block: Attack 0, Defense 1, Stamina 4, Weight 1, Speed 0

Works with

  • Works well with Doomscizor and Wyvron layers on Heavy or Gravity discs.

Related parts named in the draft: Survive, Doomscizor, Wyvron, Heavy, Gravity.
