About This Part

Flugel is a driver Takara Tomy released for the Burst System's God Layer line, debuting in Japan in the B-75 Booster, Blaze Ragnaruk 4Cross Flugel, on March 18th, 2017, and later in western countries in Hasbro's SwitchStrike Starter Pack, Berserk Roktavor R3 4Cross Flugel. It sits at standard driver height on a low, cone-shaped tip much like Survive, but adds four small wings modelled on Metal Fight Beyblade's Down Force 145 part, intended to generate upward lift in right-spin and downward pressure in left-spin. The cone tip keeps surface contact and friction low, conserving stamina while resisting scraping against the stadium floor, though the wings are too small in practice to produce any noticeable lift or downforce effect.

In Play

Because its performance mirrors Survive so closely, the community sees Flugel as offering no real improvement and considers it outclassed by drivers such as Atomic, worth owning only for a collection.

  • Released in Japan in the B-75 Booster, Blaze Ragnaruk 4Cross Flugel, on March 18th, 2017.
  • Released in western countries in Hasbro's SwitchStrike Starter Pack, Berserk Roktavor R3 4Cross Flugel.
  • A limited-colour Flugel driver was made available in Japan at select stores to anyone who spent up to 2000 yen on Takara Tomy Beyblade Burst products.

The Competitive View

The cone shape keeps friction and stamina loss low while adding stability, but the wings are too small to generate meaningful lift or downforce in either spin direction, giving only a marginal balance benefit in left-spin equalization builds.

Verdict as the draft gives it: Outclassed on stamina by tips like Defense, Gyro and Revolve despite sharing Survive's core shape; still a welcome collection addition.

  • Debuted B-75 Blaze Ragnaruk 4Cross Flugel, March 18, 2017, translucent orange
  • Correct spelling: "Flügel" (German for "wing")

Related parts named in the draft: Survive, Down Force 145 (Metal Fight Beyblade), Defense, Gyro, Revolve.
