About This Part
Wolborg, written ウルボーグ (Urubōgu) in Japanese, is a Bit Chip depicting the wolf bit-beast of the same name. Takara Tomy released it with the original Wolborg Beyblade, and it later reappeared with the Wolborg 2 and Wolborg 4 upgrades. In the anime, Wolborg belongs to the character Tala and is shown across a long run of episodes, from the top's first appearance through to its final battle; the North American dub actually references Wolborg in Tala's stats a little earlier than that. Along with the other Bit-Beasts owned by the Demolition Boys, Wolborg is depicted as an artificial creation of Balkov Abbey rather than a naturally found spirit.
In Play
- Released with the original Wolborg Beyblade.
- Reused for Wolborg 2 and Wolborg 4.
- Wolborg and the other Bit-Beasts held by the Demolition Boys are portrayed as artificial creations of Balkov Abbey rather than naturally discovered spirits.
The Competitive View
Its counter-clockwise, recoil-heavy blade shape sits awkwardly between Attack and Stamina roles, and its hollow single-plastic build keeps it very light, giving it little inertia and making it burst out of battles easily.
Verdict as the draft gives it: Recommended for collecting only, since its shape and light weight make it prone to self-bursting.
- Adapted from the Plastic Generation's Reverse Wolf Attack Ring and Wolborg Bit Chip
- Overall square/diamond shape with four wolf-head contact points
- Wolf heads more rounded and compact than the original ring, without the gap between blades
- Bit Chip is fused/non-removable (unlike the original)
- Made from a single layer of hollow plastic
- Ships with 8 Bearing (per reply from brandbrick)
Related parts named in the draft: Reverse Wolf Attack Ring, Wolborg Bit Chip.
